I am pleased to announce the immediate release of Zentrack version 2.6.4 for download. This is a maintenance release addressing several bugs and adding some improvements to existing features.

I am pleased to announce that Zentrack 2.6.3 has released to the public. This is a maintenance release fixing several bugs and adding a few key features.

The upgrade path for this release is particularly easy and pain-free.

You can download the release from sourceforge right away.

YeeeHaaaaw! Time to gear up for a new release!

The 2.6.3 release will be coming online this month. We've started testing the remaining bugs from 2.6.2 and looking over the development lists...

We'll be updating the calendar with new release dates over the next few days. 2.6.3 will be almost entirely a maintenance release, fixing all known bugs in the 2.6 branch.

Claudio will be adding one nifty feature to provide more functionality from our custom tables (used to populate dynamic dropdown menus).... read more

This is a minor release and is recommended for all customers. This release provides two UI enhancements as well as several small bug fixes and improvements.

Searchbox fields now much more useful (looks up descriptions as well as ids)
Added new helper UIs for searchbox fields
Added field map for search export so that it can be configured
Recent tickets now stored in user prefs so that they can be displayed the next time the user logs in.
Recent history now expands onmouseover to show entire title of issues. This can be disabled by setting 'expand_history' to 'off'.

* Fixed bug displaying tickets in bins user cannot view when selecting "all" from list filters
* Fixed incorrect reference to LIMIT in query (affecting sql server users)

This pre-release is the third in a series of testing releases preceding the live
release of 2.6.

This pre-release addresses some issues found in pre2 during testing:
* Removed erroneous "Errors Detected" output
* Fixed bug in retrieving project children (causing stall in mysql db)
* Added check for project self-references which cause an infinite loop
* Fixed bug in project create that causes "Invalid page mode requested: 'details'" error
* Added missing field map entries for project_view_top and for project_close
* Added missing multifields for ticket_view_top

This is a minor addition to the 2.5.5 release which features some additional patches and upgrade instructions for easier upgrades.

This does not feature any enhancements from the 2.5.5 release, just additional upgrade tools for users of older versions.

The 2.5.5 official release has been scheduled for monday (04/21/05). Testing is near completion, with only a few loose ends to tie up.

We should be able to cut a release some time this weekend.

Release 2.5.5 has been tagged for testing (RELEASE_2-5-5_PRE1). This is a big one.

It will feature the new fieldMap set, which allows for a great deal of customization to the various screens such as sortable/configurable columns and other dandy options for configuring the screen contents.

Documentation will make it into the live release, which looks like it will probably around the 21st.

A couple more screens are still in progress, but we have several bug fixes for the PRE1 release, so I have cut a PRE2 for those odd sorts who enjoy picking out a bug or two.

The 2.5.0.3 release is near completion. Finalizing some bug fixes, updates to the install/upgrade files, and performing some more in-depth testing.

Once this is completed, a release will be cut. Expect to see it some time this week.
