This is just a quick status update to inform folks of the fact that there's actually work getting done on the project.

I have now definitely decided on data structures, file/directory storage strategy and hardlink-handling, the supporting classes for implementing this are taking shape. The MD5 hashing part is already implemented and undergoes testing right now.

I expect to be able to achieve quite a progress up to week 2 in 2008 (not too far into the future, I think). Expect to have updated sources in the svn-repository at the moment there's actually any usable functionality in the code.... read more
