It seems that the ADSO dictionary is empty.
E.g.

  1. Select Dictionary Tab.
  2. Select with the Dictionary icon in the tool bar 'adso'
  3. Search for 好, 难, 书, 你, just to name a few. It doesn't find any results.

This is especially frustrating when using Autofil. Adso is de default dictionary so a starting user, immediately encounters a problem.

Update: I just discovered that it does find values for words like 'you', 'good', 'hao' and 'help'. But 'you' doesn't give 你, but only 你们 and a number of other entries. Searching on 你们 actually does yield a result. So, although simple words do not seem to be present, other words seem to be. How is the adso dictionary supposed to work? What is it supposed to contain?

Even if this behavior is 'expected', I would still advocate making cedict default (so than it would become a feature request).

Anyone knows? Thank you!

I will look in to this. Do you want to fix adso/search, or make cedict default? Also, how can I update the status of a bug?

I fixed this issue by updating the adso dictionary to v5.079. It will be released in the next ZDT version 1.3.0.
