I installed zdt on Debian 4.0 (stable), and I get the following error when I run ./zdt:
0129171955:~/media/mandarin/zdt/zdt$ ./zdt --sync
INFO : User schema contains category_order column...
The program 'ZDT' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
(Details: serial 1042 error_code 11 request_code 146 minor_code 5)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Notable versions are:
zdt-0.7.0-linux-gtk-full.tbz
/etc/alternatives/java -> /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/jre/bin/java
ii sun-java5-bin 1.5.0-10-3 Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0
ii sun-java5-jdk 1.5.0-10-3 Sun Java(TM) Development Kit (JDK) 5.0
ii sun-java5-jre 1.5.0-10-3 Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0
ii xserver-xorg 7.1.0-19 the X.Org X server
