I succeeded in using the zd1211rw driver for my Asus WL-159g
For the moment, I have only tried the git repository "wireless-2.6"
The USB ID is:
ID 0b05:170c ASUSTek Computer, Inc.
The chip ID:
zd1211rw 1-6:1.0: zd1211 chip 0b05:170c v4802 high 00-11-d8
AL2230_RF pa0 g---
The FCC ID:
The chip is inside my laptop, I can't see the FCC ID
It tried it with WEP, WPA1-PSK and WPA2-802.1x, it works ok for me.
(wpasupplicant 0.5.4-5 - debian sid)
I have also a usb dongle recognised as 079b:004a which works with the
zd1211rw driver (dongle sold with the neufbox - Neuf Telecom ISP - build
by Sagem - model XG-760A). Tested with WPA2-802.1x
ID 079b:004a Sagem
zd1211rw 1-4:1.0: zd1211 chip 079b:004a v4330 high 00-60-b3
AL2230_RF pa0 g--
Thank you for your work
