Hope this is helpful to some of you:
I don't use monitor mode very often but so far, when I did, ethereal showed
malformed packets and kismet's network list remained empty, despite receiving
packets. (In kismet.conf I set 'suiduser' to my own user id and used
I tried ethereal and kismet again today with the patch I posted some time ago.
Using r48 of the driver and the patch I seem to get rid of the malformed
packets in ethereal and kismet does not just receive packets, it also
displays the neighbouring networks in the network list.
