#15 VBI based EPG

I'm Dying to switch to linux as my main platform, but
right now ATI's tv viewer is so superior that i can't.
The epg is pretty good and since I havent found one for
linux (that dosen't webscrape) I'm afraid to switch.
Since the vbi info is sent along with the channel
anyway, wouldn't it be possible to base an epg on it?

Zapping has no EPG plugin yet, but now it works properly with
