That might make them more useful. What if the "laser sight" was provided by whatever module we think is weakest (sensor jumps to mind, and seems appropriate). OTOH, bourncers are a rarely used weapon, so making them more useful for everyone has some appeal.

The reason I like this idea with bouncers is that the sight could be used to project ricochet patterns. The bouncing ability of bouncers is hindered by the fact that players are unable to aim the reflections accurately. If the projected ricochet pattern was instantly mapped for the equipped player, he could exploit reflected lines of sight in the heat of battle without being a professional pool player.
In practice, with the weapon as it is now, players spend a good deal of time "dialing in" their intended bouncer target. Often, by the time the target is locked, the weapon has drained energy to the point that the weapon is no longer effective. This would maximize weapon efficiency and significantly reduce the "dialing in" time.
