Good Morning I am having a strange problem with a new Zabbix 3.4.3 install. After 30 mins it seems the Zabbix server stops updating the database. I have a CentOS 7.4 running on an older dell server, It has 23GB ram, Raid 5 SCSI disk with tons of space: [cid:image008.png@01D34E34.E8CA6300] The MySQL database is /home/mysql. I have php version 5.6.31 My system has: [cid:image009.png@01D34E35.4440D890] I have use the mysqltuner.pl to make adjustments in the my.cnf. I can login to the database after the Zabbix starts failing. If I restart the Zabbix server it starts back working, if I restart the MySQL there is no change. The only error message I have found is in the mysql.log file: [Note] Aborted connection 19 to db: 'zabbix' user: 'zabbix' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets) There will be 100's of these. The zabbix-server processes are still running as well as the MySQL. Looking in the Zabbix server log it looks normal, like the Zabbix does not know there is a problem, but of course the web interface starts triggering on it is not seeing agent connections after 5 mins (in my case I set this to 15 to cut down on network traffic, this is a WAN install) If I look at the server performance graphs you can see that one by one the items fall out, not like all at one time, it dies a slow death. "Just good enough, is not good enough!"
