Jared; first off, thanks a bunch for pointing me there. Meanwhile, playing a bit with my installation, I also stumbled across "IT Services" and it indeed seems pretty much what I want - thanks. :) One question on IT Services however: I do have set up a small hierarchy for one particular service and defined an acceptable uptime SLA of 99%. IT Services overview tells me the service actually had 100% uptime even while I am sure some of the included services definitely *did* have downtimes throughout the time period in question. Severity is > WARNING in all these cases too. Looking at the documentation in the wiki, I don't see what else I might still want to mess with. Does "IT Services" compute availability based on *old* data too, or do I need new data (starting with setting up services) for this? TIA and all the best, Kristian |
