This is a minor update of the tools, specifically Mpm and Z88card which has been improved with important bugfixes for compiling both OZ V4.7 and current development releases for OZ V5.0. The remaining tools are unchanged.

This release contains rock-stable editions of Mpm, Z88Card, MthToken and DZasm. Documentation, however is still in-progress work and will be completed in a future release of the Z88 Assembler Workbench.... read more

Since the V1.4 release of Mpm, an intermediate release was done of Mpm and all related tools as part of the direct release to Sourceforge in May 2016 (2016.5). Today, after considerable effort, it has been possible to create a brand-new installation of latest tools to be able to build OZ ROM V4.7 and OZ V5.0 in-progress development.

After two years of tuning and bug fixing, the Z88 Development Team has finally released OZvm V1.2. Since V1.1.5, many improvements have been done. Most importantly, hardware emulation of the Blink is now 100% accurate and support for realtime speed (3.2768Mhz). Latest OZ V4.7 ROM release is also bundled and is used by default when the emulator is booting.

The tools necessary for compiling Cambridge Z88 software have finally been released as ready-made installers for all major desktop platforms. For many years, these tools were work-in-progress development alongside the evolution of the Z88 ROM sources and 3rd party applications.

Finally, both Mpm - the Z80 macro assembler - and Z88card - a binary file card manager tool for generating Z88 ROM and application card images, are ready for public use.... read more

The Z88 Development Team has released final stable version of Eazylink2, the Remote File Management tool for Cambridge Z88, available for all popular desktop operating systems (Linux, Mac & Windows - in 32bit or 64bit flavors). We have also created Eazylink2 as a desktop application for the Raspberry Pi (both for Rasbian "Wheezy" and "Jessie").

You can use any USB serial adapter or classic RS-232 cables to communicate with the Cambridge Z88. Eazylink2 v1.0.3 also supports 38400BPS speed, when it is connecting with OZ ROM v4.5 or later.... read more

The Z88 Development Team has issued a minor bugfix-release, OZvm V1.1.2. Since V1.1.1, two user interface bugs have been fixed which were related to inserting of Flash Cards and handling of files in File Areas on those cards. See OZVM-49 and OZVM-52 issues for more details.... read more

Hello everyone,

The Z88 Development Team has issued a minor bugfix-release, OZvm V1.1.1. Fonts were missing in V1.1 installers for Windows and Linux, and there was found a regression in the Blink emulation that caused keyboard lock-up after timeout in the Z88 virtual machine, see issue here, https://cambridgez88.jira.com/browse/OZVM-45.

We have provided ready-made executable tools for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows platforms, distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL v2 license.

These tools are necessary when compiling the source code for Cambridge Z88 ROM "OZ" and applications.

We have just released the latest version of OZ V4.3 for Rakewell Flash Cards, V4.3, using a new version of EazyLink that now supports remote file management of File Cards (:EPR.1 - :EPR.3)

Also, latest version of the emulator V1.0.2 has been prepared for download. The emulator supports the new Rakewell hybrid cards 512K/512K RAM/FLASH.
