Second major iteration now. Yoshimi #1 (running MegaOrgan1.xmz) has two
separate organs, tweaked. Yoshimi #2 (MegaOrgan2.xmz) has one or two
(depending on how heavy you want to get, and probably CPU usage too)
tweaked Clarinets, one 12 tones down, one normal, set to run from notes
zero to 50 and not higher. Reverb is turned off on all patches, and
instead, I add a jack-rack setup afterwards, with (a) graphic equalizer
sending to (b) compressor sending to (c) reverb. The compressor prevents
Yoshimi from blowing up the virtual circuitry :-)
The equalizer probably should be tweaked for each venue (resonance is a big
deal, we're playing with probably 18-20k here, sweet Lori tells me that I
am vibrating toilet seats at the church *grin*), and you'll probably want a
very good friendly sound guy who doesn't scare easily :-)
The files are here:
I have the YOSHIMI folder in my profile root, this may make using the
.xmz's a bit easier.
Have a great day, all!
