Hi,

I experienced some problems with yenc32. Firstly, version 1.0.8 doesn't seem to work on Windows Millennium. The installation process ends correctly, but each time I try to encode or to decode a given file, I get the "Could not execute yEnc32 to encode this file." or "Could not execute yEnc32 to decode this file." message.

After having removed 1.0.8 I reinstalled 1.0.7. The installation process ended correctly, and I was able to encode/decode files happily. However, when I try to *post* a message to a newsgroup, I get the following message: "Yenc32 caused an error in USER.EXE. The Yenc32 program will now be stopped. If you continue to experience problems, reboot your computer" (rough translation from French). Rebooting the computer doesn't change anything.

The problem is that I never tried to send a message to a newsgroup with 1.0.7 before having installed and then removed 1.0.8 so I can't say for sure that the problem is caused by this new version. The news server was a local one, managed by Hamster Classic 2.1.0.11 to which I can connect normally with SeaMonkey 1.1.2.

To summarize the problem: I'd like to be able to use 1.0.8 on Windows Millennium and to be able to post messages across Usenet with it. Any help would be more than welcome.
