YChat Console IRC Client / News: Recent posts

YChat-IRC 0.1 beta 0 is almost here! Pudas has completed the IRC and socket coding, and Sanoi is nearly done with the UI in CDK/NCurses. We hope to release 0.1 for testing by the end of the year.

YChat-IRC has just opened a new site for forums of the project. The forums will be centered around the project's needs and gives the developers a place to exchange ideas and information while allowing others to see it.

To All YChat-IRC Project Developers:

We are now currently looking for a new Project Administrator for the YChat Console IRC Client project. The first person to commit to the CVS Repository a major module will receive this admin position.

I am now currently starting on the UI of the client without any features or connectivity. As I progress, I will post screenshots, and ask what you think. Please leave comments in the forums or in the UI INFO tracker.
