I am trying to access Gmail through yawebmail client.  I am able to login specifying server name as pop.gmail.com, Pop3, user id and password.  I have modified login properties file to use port 995 for server to access gmail (as recommended by gmail).  I am able to successfully log on, but the mail details are not displayed?  Any reason?  Appreciate the responses....

Strange that you managed to log in at all, since Gmail requires a login over SSL.
This isn't build into yawebmail yet.
However - this shouldn't be hard to do, so I will put this in shortly...

O.K. - SSL-Support is now included with yawebmail 1.0.0beta5. You can
      check it out under:

      https://www.openwebtools.org/yawebmail/

or - if you want to run it on your own server - in CVS.

To enable a SSL-connection first click on the small wrench in the
Mailbox-Protocol-Row and than enable the SSL-checkbox.

I tried it with Gmail and it works. Hint: Check your Gmail-settings if
you don't see (all) mails. You can exclude already loaded mails from POP3.

      Enjoy!
