In January of 2006 the development of Yapter was transferred to Kevin L. Papendick (http://www.polarlava.com/ ). Unfortunately I didn't do much with it in the past year, but have recently begun a major development effort. As part of this management change, Yapter will be moving to my site along with my other projects. The new site (currently pre-Alpha) will be http://projects.polarlava.com/yapter/ If you have comments, issues or questions, please swing by and drop me a line. Bugs and such that are currently here will be addressed as best possible before this site is decommissioned.
Yapter version 2.13b2 has been released! Amongst other new features, PHP 5 compatibility code was added. Please see the CHANGELOG file for more detailed information.
I'm glad to announce that, a few moments ago, Ivo Koster has joined the Yapter project. Ivo already submitted a few patches for Yapter, but has now become an official developer. We're sure he will turn out to be a great addition to the team!

There has been a Yapter release that fixes the bug as described in http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=782776&group_id=86555&atid=580008, about PHP displaying vague warnings where Yapter should.
Furthermore, there is some support builtin to set the warning level that Yapter should use.
The new (beta) release can be downloaded from the downloads page: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=86555
There has been an important bugfix in all Yapter releases!
The bug involved unwanted behaviour in the replace() function, as described in http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=782529&group_id=86555&atid=580008
Anyone using Yapter will be doing good upgrading its version! The good versions of the Yapter source are available for download now.
The Yapter CVS repository has been imported and is ready for you to check out. Please refer to the page below for details:
Yapter has moved to SourceForge! A CVS repos will be prepared soon. Please note that help is always welcome. If you would like to help out, please contact me (https://sourceforge.net/sendmessage.php?touser=808324).
