#9 not really Free because of dependencies

While YAP itself is covered under the Artistic license,
some sub components (CHR, CLPQR) prohibit commercial
use, apparently including e.g. using derivative works like
YAP for any task in a business environment or even
selling Linux distribution CD's with Yap included on
them:

"e. The user understands and agrees that this
program and any derivative works are to be used
solely for experimental uses and are not to be
sold, or be commercially exploited in any manner."

Are there any other packages that could be used
instead of these problematic ones?

[ I quite resent that these kinds of licenses render so
many good programs written in universities useless for
the Open Source / Free software community... If they
don't want their programs proprietarised, I whish they'd
use GPL instead. :( ]
