#15 access violation in yap.dll

I am getting an access violation when I try to run the sample in yap.pdf.

When I try to recompile yap.dll under VCC++ 6.0, in order to be able to run the program with the debugger, I get hundreds os errors and warnings, mainly due to missing files os libraries and various programming errors.

Is it possible to obtain a clean copy of yap that will compile clean and straightforward under VCC++ 6.0?
