Version 0.6.2 of Yams has been released. This release should fix most of the issues found in the 0.6.1 release. 0.6.2 - 17 March 2000 * fixed problems with the proper headers not being sent when the server side includes were used under mod_cgi (toplevel.pl, cart.pl) * fixed problem where displaying empty departments did not work properly (Cart.pm) * fixed problem where creating session id was causing a warning message (Cart.pm) * added utility to initialize the search function with the existing product descriptions (create_pds_table.pl) The new version is availabe directly at http://download.sourceforge.net/yams/yams_0.6.2.tar.gz Garth |

Yams 0.6.1 was released today. Changes are * introduced simple product search mechanism -user can search for keywords in name of product or in the product description. * introducted related products - at product creation time, related products can be chosen for the new product and these products will be soft sold to the user after the product is placed in the cart * fixed problem with printLabels in Reports.pm where bundle products with shippable products would not show up in the label list. Yams 0.6.0 was released today. The major enhancement is the addition of session ids. These allow the host of the referrer to be tracked, the shopping and secure servers to have different urls, and the addition of a "Return from whence you came" link to the end of the ordering process. I've also setup the bug tracking on sourceforge and hope to start adding the known bugs and feature requests today. This version is available at http://sourceforge.net/project/?group_id=64 The complete change log follows. 0.6.0 - 02 March 2000 * added concept of session ids - allows for store server and secure server to have differnt urls - allows for tracking of where customer came from - allows for placement of "Return from whence you came" link at the end of the ordering process * changed behaviour of state field - popup for USA, textfield for other countries * more quoting cleanup * updated revenue report to display report for each referrer to store * strip spurious characters from address before passing to Signio tool * carts now combine correctly when user logins after starting with "anonymous" cart * renewals now properly update order number in subscriptions table * Fixed problem where program would die without leaving an error message if an address was not chosen from the list for non-billing address shipping Garth |
