yes, it helped very much.
i really only have one difficulty with the type system related to languages=
. if one of the goals is to offer easy data serialization then having !ruby=
/xxx and !perl/xxx seems problematic. that makes them different types right=
off the bat just b/c they were generated from different language. what wou=
ld a perl program do with a !ruby/xxx? it seems silly. if it did not just s=
ay "DOES NOT COMPUTE!" then it would probably try to make it an xxx if it c=
an anyway. the only reason that i might see for having this lang specific c=
onstruct is for fundemental types that are not supported between platforms.=
perhaps like !ruby/symbol. but do other languages support symbol? if so th=
en symbol is not just for ruby anymore. perhaps i just don't see it. perhap=
