I mentioned in an earlier email that I will be speaking to the Washington, DC
Python Users Group on Saturday morning about YAML.
If you have any good real world YAML examples that could be used in my
presentation, please either send them to the list, post them to the wiki, or
send them to me directly. Although my audience is Python programmers, I don't
necessarily care which version of YAML you're using.

I've been thinking about how useful explicit typing could be for RPC.
What if you were able to query an RPC service and recieve back a blank
document with typing information?
You send a 'GET /rpc/method/order_food' and get back:
--- #YAML:1.0 !rpc/payload
- name: !str
- name: !str
Most RPC protocols require an interface to query the service, but this is the kind
of YAML that I could edit directly in VIM and just post back to the service. A simple
VIM script could be written to automate all RPC calls to this sort of service.
Another good example might be a collection of your favorite lewd and ungentlemanly sayings.
