I'm currently still on 56 kbps dial-up connection and
when downloading emails, it'll time out after a while,
and not all the emails are downloaded successfully.
I wonder if this is a problem with my email client's
(Outlook Express) server timeout setting or there is
some restriction placed by Yahoo! mail server. I've
since set the server timeouts setting from Short (1
minute) to Long (5 minutes) and it still times out.
The error message as reported by Outlook Express is:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the
connection. Possible causes for this include server
problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'Yahoo! Mail',
Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure
(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number:
SO I end up with a partially downloaded mailbox, with
some emails downloaded and some still left on the
