YADES is a complete programming environment for Windows which consists of GNU developer tools, an IDE and some other libraries which let you develop easily. YADES can be used without a setup or compiling, just extract the archive, run the IDE (or GCC) and start coding! If you want to know how YADES is built - no problem. It contains detailled instructions and a batch file for automated building.... read more
Please read the news on the homepage to know what the new version brings!
I did more tests on this release than on every release before: I hope I have removed the most bugs. The highlights of the new version are that you can build YADES with a simple batch script (things run in real life never like in theory :) and that the MAKE bug which prevented the building of the SDL test programs had been removed. I wish you much fun with the new release, and please: report bugs!
The new version is a complete rebuild of YADES and the tutorial is now up-to-date. It describes use of Dev-C++ with SDL correctly now and YADES does also compile SDL source code now! Also new is the NASM Assembler which is in the WINBIN directory (I cannot be sure it is running, I just included the executable!). Wish everyone a nice day!
This was the first time that I released two files on one day: the last changes are adding of the Simple DirectMedia Layer; for description go to http://www.libsdl.org. When you find some failures, report them to me immediatly. Do not be afraid that this is a failure from you, I have not nearly tested the new release!
This release is just for people who have not seen YADES before. The only new thing is that I have included the GNU General Public License that no one can say I do something bad. The people who have downloaded YADES before can let this new version because it does not change the function of YADES.
In Version 1.0.3.1 I had forgotten to update from Dev-C++ 4.9.8.0 to 4.9.8.5. This is fixed now, I have also packed some tutorials into YADES and released it as 1.0.3.2. Note that the original version is not available to download anymore because of saving memory at the SF-servers. A nice day everyone!
The 1.0.3.1 version is the first version I released in SourceForge. I hope many more will follow! Changes to the 1.0.3 are just a little greater documentation and some fixes with the Allegro directory. The original 1.0.3 will not be released.
