Running this EMACS distribution on a PowerMac G5 with
OS X 10.4.x, I have noted a bug when the application is
run with multiple windows. This bug relates to the
much lower resolution of the additional EMACS
application windows.
Specifically, when I initially open EMACS, the FIRST
window is at the normally high resolution. However,
when a SECOND window is opened using the control-x 52
command, this window is at a much coarser resolution
than the first window.
This bug also displays an interesting additional
property: When a THIRD window is opened, that one is
displayed at HIGH resolution, like the FIRST!!! Then
when a FOURTH window is opened, that one is displayed
at COARSE resolution, like the second!! This goes on
for each PAIR of consecutively opened additional windows.
How can I fix the bug (or reset preferences or flags)
so the problem goes away?
