Users that want to be members of this mailing list can do that via www.yabasic.de, official YABASIC website... If You want to become member of YaBASIC users list You should visit http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/yabasic-users , if You want to discuss about some other themes related to YaBASIC such as bugs, etc please go to http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/yabasic-general ... YaBASIC developers should discuss about this - my opinion we should erase that discussion and add another - yabasic-bugs , or something similar. /** * Dejan Lekic * http://dl.9mb.net */ |

Same thing on NT 4. You have to had "cmd /c" before each command. For example, try r =3D system("cmd /c dir") instead of r =3D system("dir") > -----Message d'origine----- > De : Dejan Lekic [mailto:le...@en...] > Envoy=E9 : dimanche 9 d=E9cembre 2001 12:45 > =C0 : YaBASIC USERS; YaBASIC DEV > Objet : [Yabasic-users] 8+3 filenames ? >=20 >=20 >=20 > Hi to all, > I've just noticed that YaBASIC's (at least on Windows 2000)=20 > system() command treats filenames as old MS-DOS filenames... >=20 > Or maybe I am wrong? :) >=20 >=20 > _______________________________________________ > Yabasic-users mailing list > Yab...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/yabasic-users >=20 |

Hi to all, I've just noticed that YaBASIC's (at least on Windows 2000) system() command treats filenames as old MS-DOS filenames... Or maybe I am wrong? :) |

Hi to all! Today i got permission to use PCRE code from Mr. Philip Hazel, at University of Cambridge Computing Service... That means I'll start today on adding new feature into YaBASIC, so I hope we will soon have Regular expressions in "YABBY" (That's how I personally call YaBASIC)! :) Best regards to all and thanks for support! ______________________________ Dejan Lekic <le...@9m...> developer, MySQL DBA, sysadmin http://dl.9mb.net :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: >FORWARDED MESSAGE :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: > >From: Philip Hazel <ph...@cu...> >To: Dejan Lekic <le...@en...> >Date: 5/14/01 9:06:56 AM >Subject: Re: RCRE - permission to use=3F On Fri, 11 May 2001, Dejan Lekic wrote: > I'm asking You, as part of YaBASIC (www.yabasic.de) development team, to > give us permission to use PCRE code which we would use to add support for > RegExp to YaBASIC. Dear Peter, I am really sorry for delay in reply... I am too busy these days. First I would like to say that Marc-Oliver Ihm is the project leader. I just help him. We _really_ need people to help us about YaBASIC... You can help us in few ways - depends on Your knowledge, ability to work (free time), willing to learn new things etc... 1) If You are C programmer, you can help us to develop YaBASIC (core stuff and some new stuff) 2) If You are web developer You can help us too - We need web developers becouse we want to create some sort of central YaBASCI developers site, where YaBASIC programmers can share their code (full code, or just snippets), chat, discuss etc... I am myself web developer too, so we could work together... 3) If You have enough time and enough knowledge in XML, HTML, DHTML we could work to make better YaBASIC documentation - to help Marc-Oliver with making it better (he did a VERY good job!). 4) If You are cross-platform developer (C knowledge again) You can help us port YaBASIC over other platforms. 5) If You have knowledge in making DEB packages PLEASE help us to make 'em! 6) If You are Windows developer You can make CHM file for YaBASIC. WE _NEED_ SOMEONE to do that! :) 7) We need someone that has knowledge in programming cross-platform applications for one extra reason - we should start making (sub)project in order to provide A GOOD YABASIC EDITOR to all YaBASIC users. It should work on every platform... 8) If You REALLY WANT to help us, join our mailing list and we will see how it can be... :) Please contact Marc-Oliver or me about this... Once again - if You really wan't to help us we find the way how! :) BEST regards P.S. I am sending this to YaBASIC mailing list because it's of global interest ... _______________________________________________________________ Dejan Lekic http://dl.9mb.net developer, MySQL DBA, sysadmin le...@en... mailto:ma...@ya... Hi, The other "ugly" option would be to support something similar to pointer variables :-) then we would be able to code the swap subroutine ourselves :-) sub swap(&a, &b) ...
