I'm using a recent version of Crosswords for Android, which I downloaded using the Google Play store app.
When I'm playing against the CPU, Crosswords shows a notification when it's been a couple of days since my last move.
Since I'm only playing against the CPU, this notification is not needed. The CPU has infinite patience and will never get bored of waiting for me to move.
It would be most excellent if you could please avoid showing the notification for human-vs.-CPU games.
P.S. Thank you very much for writing and maintaining Crosswords for all these years!
I'll add a second preference to control this, so if you like you can turn off local game notifications and leave networked game ones alone. Personally I like the local ones too.
This is done now on the android_branch and should be in the next release. Please contact me if you'd like to install a preview/debug copy of the app.
Cool, thanks for adding the preference!
I have no need for a preview release.
P.S. Why do you want turn reminders when you're playing against the CPU? The CPU takes only a split-second to move, so it's almost always your turn. And if it's not your turn, you need only wait for a second or so until it will be your turn. :) You can play when you want, and go do something else when you want.
