Details: You selected multi-frame capture mode but the requested frame-rate is not valid for the selected codec. This would result in the video playing back too slowly or quickly

Please provide details about the kind of capture you're trying to make.
Various codecs don't support arbitrary frame rates, which is not sufficiently checked on the command line. You may want to take a look at the preferences GUI to see the valid frame rates. For DV e. g. only 25 an 29.97 are valid.
