#11 XvidCap 1.1.7 Jaunty Audio Codec Not Used

To the Developers,

I love the program and have found it useful; however, when I try to capture audio (numerous ways, looping sound card, changing ALSA to OSS and others, adjusting gains, and more) I have found that the original file (played with Mplayer or VLC) DOES NOT contain any audio (NO audio codec was used).

How do I fix this?
