I had problems to make work XVidCap on my laptop (Dell Latitude D830). I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid with the NVIDIA driver...
I installed the application using the apt-get install facility and I can start it. But, when I try to record, the application freezes and I need to kill it.
How can I know what happens in order to solve the problem? Which tests on my operating system can be done?
