There are some significant changes in this release, and not a lot of
fancy new features.

1) In order to make binary packages of xtunes, I have had to downgrade
to using the last stable version of libid3, 3.7.13. This is the
last version with any useful debs/rpms. I apologize to all those
who I've made install 3.8.0pre2. Back when I started xtunes, I
assumed that by the time xtunes was ready for release, there was
sure to be a 3.8 release of id3lib (and thus the associated
debs/rpms). But alas, there still isn't, and id3lib is one of the
popular problems most people have. So everyone that did install
3.8 will have to downgrade since the APIs are incompatible. The

fixed crash when burning, fixed multiple timers in message window.

fixed ~1MB memory leak in mpg123 plugin.

v0.20 fixes a bug in the config file that specifies the default player to be "mad" when the "mad" plugin no longer exists.

many changes, see release notes/changelog for 0.18. 0.19 contains minor fixes to 0.18.

* window decorations are now an option (DecorateWindow). moving the window works, but resize hasn't been implemented yet.
* directory import implemented
* symbolic link import implemented
* configure bug with mkdir fixed (thanks to timlee@users.sf.net)
* some artwork updated
* continued work on mpg123 decode plugin, but not ready yet

First release of xtunes (v0.05) uploaded to sourceforge.
