#557 Color picker eye dropper tool in Change > Properties not working

When the colour picker (eye dropper tool) is used in Change > Properties it does not detect the colour it hovers over. Have tried clicking on different parts of the screen, on different objects, etc, it always defaults to black as the picked colour.
