Martin,

in current XTrackCAD releases, the tooltips are created using gtk_tooltips API. I suppose the colors are taken from the current theme.

On my system (Fedora 23) the tooltips look ok.

Can you give more details about the version of XTrackCAD and the Linux you're using?

Sorry for my late answer ... It just happens on empty plan too ...

I have a system with opensuse Leap 42.1 an gtk installed ... maybe has to do with opensuse special webkitgtk? I have to install from self compiled version on 4.2.3b not possile to install because of deps webkitgtk. See my other bugreport #161

Sorry for my wrong post in #159 ... if something goes wrong ...shit happens (murphy's law)

webkitgtk is probably not the cause. This is only used for the help system, not the user interface

Can you try to install and switch to another theme for GTK?

What tool do you use to create the screen shots?

I tried switching now using breeze under Leap 42.2 64Bit ... same probleme ... starting xtrkcad in console gives me some warning ... seen that I use breeze profiel under /usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/ ...

Hi Martin,

I got it ... changed gtk-color-scheme = "tooltip_fg_color:#eff0f1" to gtk-color-scheme = "tooltip_fg_color:#000000" and everything is allrigtht ... now text is black ... maybe the colors are to near to see the difference :-( in the gtk profile.

Is it possible to change size of icons in toolbar and the parameter bar?
