#16 Error:0x0004 when I try to rip

I'm pretty sure CD-DA X-Tractor worked fine when I
first installed it. But now, nothing. Every time I try
to "Rip Tracks", I get "Error:0x0004". The LED on the
drive doesn't even blink. The suspicious thing is that
I've since installed Windows XP (Pro) SP2. Is there
perhaps a connection?
The table of contents ("Refresh CD") seems to work fine.

I've tried...
Multiple drives (no difference)
WAV instead of MP3 (no difference)

Any hints?
