Hi,
   the current stable release of XTags, 0.5, introduces the following
main features:

   o The user function flyout(), which allow to switch to a temporary
     layout in order to select a client. This is mainly used with the
     new chess layout, which allow to get a ``quick view'' of the
     opened clients.

   o A new layout, chess, which just place the clients in a ordered
     way like, i say, in a chessboard. It's possible to configure the
     number of clients for row by changing the CHESS_C4R directive in
     config.h.

   o Clients' label support provide an easy way to assign a laber of
     only one character to each client, then recall it when needed by
     specify the same label. It's very flexible (at least more than
     the client_select() function). Useful with lots of clients.
