É o xtm - Xstep tabajara Monitorator, um cliente net-snmp, que pode ser pego em: web.onda.com.br/nulo []s -- Paulo Henrique Rodrigues Pinheiro Programador - Depart. hello friends! in the last months many new applications are added to xstep 3.x contrib. if you have have any xstep application to share with everyone, you can submit your application for me and i will include in the xstep package. these updates can't have any impact in the library version and can run with libxstep.so.3.5.1. the last package of xstep 3.5.1 include many contrib applications, like 'xfprot' and 'xstep-shell' from Tito Ragusa, 'seth' and 'yerkilt' from Marcello Barisonzi, the linuxtools with many misc applications from me and Gleicon Moraes, 'xstepfiles' from Cassio and 'academia' from me and Joicimar Rocco. the package of xstep 3.5.1 is available in: http://xstep.sourceforge.net/packages/xstep-3.5.1.tar.gz there are small modifications in the Makefile of xstep 3.5.1 and added the option -rt (realtime), to disable the usleep() in the main event loop (like you can be in the xstep 4.0). i make many updates and corrections in the code of version 4.0, the updated package is available in: http://xstep.sourceforge.net/packages/xstep-4.0.tar.gz of course, if you are starting a new application, can be a good think start with version 4.0... best regards marcelo samsoniuk -- o _ _ _ _o /\_ _ \\o (_)\__/o (_) _< \_ _>(_) (_)/<_ \_| \ _|/' \/ (_)>(_) (_) (_) (_) (_)' _\o_ |

yes, but in the version 4.0 you have a direct control of event loop. when you have a non-animated application, you can just use: while(XSCheckEvent(desktop,XS_BLOCK)); and you application will work like a version 3.x application with animation=0. if you have a animated application, like a game or a video player, you can use: while(XSCheckEvent(desktop,!XS_BLOCK)) usleep(1); in this case, !XS_BLOCK of version 4.0 is just like animation=1 of version 3.x. but in version 3.x you have a implicit usleep(1) in library code, in the version 4.0 you can decide if you have this usleep() or not. of course, you will need a usleep() to control the rate of your event loop, for example, usleep(1000000/15) to fix a 15 fps loop. but animations and updates are not equal. the broadcast++ equivalent in xstep 4.0 is a desktop->global->count++. of course, this global struct is replicated in any widget, then you can use any wid->global->count++. when a event is checked, the change function of all widgets are checked until cont is zero. marcelo samsoniuk "Tomek G." wrote: > > sorry for that mail it wasn't whole... here is the "good" version: > > Hello, > Is there any equivalent of broadcast++ and animation=1 in xstep-4.0 library? > I need to change label's caption from function: > button_create( -8,-8,72,24,"change", change_label_text ); > Thx, > d0zer > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek > Welcome to geek heaven. > http://thinkgeek.com/sf > _______________________________________________ > xstep-devel mailing list > xst...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xstep-devel -- You cannot kill time without injuring eternity. |

sorry for that mail it wasn't whole... here is the "good" version: Hello, Is there any equivalent of broadcast++ and animation=1 in xstep-4.0 library? I need to change label's caption from function: button_create( -8,-8,72,24,"change", change_label_text ); Thx, d0zer |

hello! a new release of XSTEP 3.x is available in: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xstep/xstep-3.5.1.tar.gz the main modifications are new example applications in contrib and changes in the library Makefile, to be more portable and to enable multiple XSTEP library versions in the same machine. if you have XSTEP 3.x applications, you can just recompile all these applications with XSTEP 3.5.1 library and, if you install in future a new and incompatible version, like XSTEP 4.0, all old XSTEP 3.x will work! the secret for this is the option -soname in the ld stage, all XSTEP 3.x applications linked with libxstep.so.3.5.1 will load the libxstep.so.3 if multiple versions are available. XSTEP 4.x applications will load libxstep.so.4. the XSTEP 4.x development continue: a new pre-release version will be available in next days, with the new library link modifications and other corrections! t++ marcelo |
