The form has a simple select1 control in it. The control setting is selection="closed". </P> <P>I am viewing the form on an IE9/Windows 7 machine. The IE9 is in IE9 mode, not one of the other mode options.</P> <P>When the control value is changed the dropdown with the various options stays open for some seconds and during this time there is significant processor activity as seen in the Task Manager.
