[Xsltforms-support] submission/@mode vs submission/@ajx:synchronized

I see xsltforms.xsl mentions the Ajaxforms extensions 
submission/@ajx:synchronized boolean, and submit/@ajx:synchronized 
boolean, but doesn't handle XForms 1.1 submission/@mode="synchronous" or 
submission/@mode="asynchronous".

Is this a mistake or is ajx:synchronized different from XForms 1.1 
submission/@mode?
