i think you decision to move with xml-dataislands is a sound achitecturaly.
Hope everything works out for the benefit of all of us.

I suggest that it would be a great if the final result allows for
integration of the xml-data-iuslands
with the Yahou UI library.

Thus, one of the 2 most important defects of the XForms standard would
vanish:
Javasctipt enabled responsive Grids
(html-tables with inplace-sorting and column reordering, etc).
For intance,
(The other most important defect is integration of XForms with
Browser's History for a smooth user experience of the 'back' button.)
