input with xs:date type - undesirable behavior

In my simple date type test I discover that I cannot type the date manualy. After typing one numer the date is automaticaly updated by default date.
input filed has incremental="true" attribute.
The same situation has place when I don't have incremental="true" but when I move out of the field and in filed there date isn't correct.
