I have an XForm that creates an instance out of an XML stored in eXist. The xform is dynamically created from and XQL script also stored in eXist. The first time the form is displayed it works fine. But if I update the XML used for the model and refresh the xform, the changes do not appear. If I close the browser, still the changes do not show. Is the model save in the cache?
The XML model is definitely in the browsing cache. Opened the XML model file in the browser and still the old version. Did a refresh…got the changes. Went back to the form and a refresh brought the new changes. Is there a way to create an instance and pulled fresh from the database instead of the browser cache? Using IE9.
i suspect this could be something to do with eXist - perhaps check out the 'no-cache' tags in the controller.xql
alternatively, you could use exist to generate the xform and have the instance inline rather than linked.
