problem running java

Hi,

whenever I try to invoke the XSLT processor (Saxon or Xalan) I get the 
following error

(1) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (file-error connection failed 
Connection refused localhost xslt results)

It's trying to open a socket somewhere, but I can't see what the problem is 
(Xemacs 21.4.3 on MacOSX).

ideas?
