All ©XSIBackup-App application components, except for the Linux general purpose tools are installed under the directory

/home/<username>/.xsi

Some of you may find it awkward when compared to the Unix FHS, but there are very good reasons for things to be the way they are.

©XSIBackup (DC & App) is designed to grab data from some source server and save it to some local or remote host. When you save data locally you usually don't have any permissions limitation, as ©XSIBackup should be run under the root user, or at least some user with some set of equivalent permissions.
