Fixed bug in compiler, in which it assumed it could start gensym-ming
at 300 and all would be OK. Of course, it's not always. So now ensures
that gensym is larger than any variable genned during clause generation.
And this changes most xwam's, it seems, since gensymmed ids are now
different.

added a version of storage_find_fact/3, which returns the actual stored
fact, not just the result of unification

Made concat_atom run in either direction. I.e., can be used to split atoms.

Added comment to remember to fix something wrt char-sets at some point.
Added defined constant where a constant was used (twice) for clarity.

Fixed path_sysop(cwd_ancestordir,..) to always return directory with trailing
slash.

Fix handling of eof, so -1 is not sent to character-set conversion
routines.

The main changes are the fixes in format.P, which corrects the problems with \n
Recompiled the manual, updated stale xwams, makefile dependencies.

Update xwams that changed due to a change in the compiler
(to better handle 0-ary predicates in modules.)

Improved handling of 0-ary predicates and modules in the compiler.
It (at least partially) fixes long-standing problems with 0-ary predicates,
and with luck won't break any programs.
