Added comments so emacs coloring of .tex files doesn't get confused.

Comment out unused code to eliminate compiler warnings.

Changes in parse.P to allow XSB to serve as an external preprocessor for Prolog
programs.
Added --ignore command-line option to make it possible to ignore the remaning
command-line arguments. Needed to ignore the file name, which is tacked on to
all XSB preprocessors.
Added the 'NOWARN' wrapper to silence the spurious warnings produced by the
conditional compilation code.
Added explanations to the manual to show how to use XSB as a preprocessor.
Some fixes in the curl manual.

fixed bug with clauses of the form H:1.0:-....

Allow user to change the "Connect" predicate to something other than 'C'/3.
Needed to handle subtleties with mixed use of word/3 representation.

Change decl of string in utf8_char_to_codepoint to unsigned char *
so as not to get negative codepoints!

New files for consistent test results in utf8/ascii.

Rearranged test suite so that utf8/ascii tests are compiled properly.

Added cast to quiet compiler.

Committed character sets.
