#442 Transferring a Contact to a New Company Messes Up Records


If a contact is transferred to a new company and the user opts out of updating all the contact records, the activities, opportunities and cases records remaining at the old company get messed up. The records remain attached to the transferred contact's contact_id even though the contact is no longer at the old company which causes a host of other problems.

    When a contact is transfered, the user now has two choices:
    - move all records with the contact to the new company
    - leave all the records with another contact at the old company. In this case, the activity will now also properly track its additional participants.
