Hi,

First, thanks for the great work you guys have done so far with XRDP.

I have a replicable test case which I can say fails from Remmina Ubuntu client, Cord MAC client, Microsoft Remote Desktop MAC client and Microsoft Remote Desktop Windows Client.

Preconditions:

  • Ubuntu 12.04 desktop with XRDP installed and Eclipse Luna installed

Problem:

Eclipse Luna shortcuts work perfectly OK in Ubuntu 12.04 however when it is reached via RDP from outside the keyboard stops responding correctly under certain circumstances

How to recreate the problem:

  1. Try to use Eclipse shortcuts using left hand SHIFT+ALT+<special key(s)=""> like T, R, M, S+R, S+M, X+M, X+T until your keyboard and/or mouse does not work as expected. You will notice like if you would have lost proper keyboard bindings like clicking will not respond because instead it shows a cross cursor that would allow you to hold and move the whole screen around.</special>

  2. At this point CTRL+click will be the only way to actually click on something.

  3. To get rid of this sutuation press ALT+TAB to go somewhere else and press it again to come back to Eclipse

  4. If you try #1 again pressing left hand ALT+SHIFT+<special key(s)=""> it will always work. Using the right hand keys will always work no matter the order of ALT and SHIFT. This means that "left hand SHIT+ALT" combination causes random keyboard binding problems.</special>

Thanks for taking your time to go through this issue. Hopefully you will be able to correct it.
