xrayutilities 1.4.1 was released (2017-04-03) This is a bug-fix release which fixes three annoying/important bugs: 1) the symmetry of tetragonal materials was wrong in 1.4.0 2) the PowderModel/PowderDiffraction classes did not work on Windows 3) fix in DarwinModel (caused first layer in a sequence to be treated wrong) As usual every user is advised to upgrade. In order to obtain the new version go to sourceforge [1] or use PyPI [2]. Windows binaries and wheel packages are found on PyPI for Python in versions 3.5 and 3.6 in 32 and 64-bit versions. Note that there are no packages for Python 2.7.X anymore. If you need such packages and can not build it yourself please let me know.
