While I don't currrently indent to add anything new to XPlug myself, I have figured out how to make it query ut2 servers. They decided to make ut2 use the game port+10 instead of game port+1 like ut and unreal1 do. So to make XPlug show UT2 server info, tell XPlug the port is the game port+9. eg.: If you running the default port 7777, tell XPlug you are using 7786. You will not be able to launch the game this way, but at least there is server info. |

I found the bug that caused some people to not be able to get the Game List. If you are upgrading, the XPlug-MIN.exe file will do for you. I also have now remove the files from the free-soure.com server as promised. Anyone that is still linking to the files will now have broken links. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xplug/XPlug-FULL.exe http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xplug/XPlug-MIN.exe I am also looking for some one, or more than one some one to help take XPlug furthur. I am being distracted by other projects that have grander goals (like phpgroupware.org) and I find that I have little time left for XPlug. I will still do support and bug fixes even if I get no help so don't worry, I have no intentions of abandoning XPlug. Chris |

The mailing list is now run by SourceForge. Do to the mass migration of the list, you will have to request your password (for maintaining your list options) at http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/options/xplug-updates/yo...@em...dress. Be sure to replace the "yo...@em...dress" part with the address you have received this message at. You will also be sent a password reminder every 30 days. Also, the file downloads will now be handled by SourceForge. This way, when my server is down, XPlug will still be available. All links to the download page should be changed to point to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=18283 and not to anywhere on free-source.com. I have placed a link on the current download page to the new download site so current links will not be broken. Anyone still linking to the files directly will have some time to change their links. I will leave the files there until the next release, then the old files will be deleted, but the download page will still send browsers to the SourceForge site. I have also registered xplug.org and as soon as it is complete, I will redirect all of the free-source.com/xplug pages to xplug.org. Once all this is done, I plan on working on Quake and QuakeWorld support, and someone is currently helping me with DirectPlay enabled games, such as MechWarrior4, Age of Empires, Age of Kings, Deltaforce 182, Disciples, Dune 2000, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, KKND2, Railroad Tycoon, Shogo, Total Annihilation, Age of Wonders, and maybe more!
