Don't worry.  There is an x11 version of XPilot too.  Check to see if
you have it already installed.  You're on Ubuntu, you say?  Then you
probably have two packages providing XPilot clients:

xpilot-ng-client-sdl
xpilot-ng-client-x11

xpilot is a symlink to the xpilot-ng-sdl alternative right now.  If y=
ou
remove the xpilot-ng-client-sdl package, xpilot will point at the sec=
ond
alternative, xpilot-ng-x11.
