#1 Add method to remove domain in returned string

Is it possible to add some method of disableing the
domain being returned, ie so instead of returning
domain\user it just returns user ? I work in a
secondry school and we have a windows 2003 terminal
server. We use smoothwall for internet filtering, that
uses ident lookups to get who is remotely logged in.
As we have windows 98 clients as well which return just
the user it would allow us to have a single name list
(eg for banning people etc.). Also smoothwall does not
allow \ in the username box when adding users.
